The “EURADRIA 2026–2028” project aims to encourage the movement of workers within the “EURADRIA” cross-border region (Friuli Venezia Giulia in Italy, Goriška, Obalno-kraška and Notranjsko-kraška in Slovenia), through the cross-border exchange of job vacancies and applications, and the exchange of information on European labour markets, including living conditions and employment opportunities.
Specifically, the project’s objectives are aimed at optimising the recruitment process in the cross-border area; (ii) providing information and guidance to jobseekers, workers and employers through the Infodesks; (iii) consolidating and expanding a ‘digital approach’ to information; (iv) collecting and analysing data on cross-border labour mobility; (v) contribute to the pool of high-quality job vacancies and CVs of talented individuals on the EURES portal; (vi) study cross-border skills and competences, focusing on skills development, anticipation and innovative matching processes in line with EU strategies and policies, and contribute, across the board, to the implementation of the EU Digital Strategy, to the implementation of the European Green Deal, the European Pillar of Social Rights and its Action Plan, the EU Strategic Agenda 2024–2029, the Skills Union and the gender equality strategy; (vii) contribute to risk management through a ‘permacritical approach’ within the area; (viii) implement and support policy-making and institutional strengthening measures, at cross-border and EU level, by enhancing territorial competitiveness, ensuring access to high-quality jobs and a fair labour market, supporting the green and digital transitions, as well as promoting innovation (ix) to improve dialogue and the exchange of best practice at European, national and local level by participating in cooperation and coordination activities, involving other cross-border partnerships, EURES members and partners, as well as other existing projects and/or initiatives.
Within the framework of its project activities, Informest, in close cooperation with and in support of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, acting as Project Coordinator, is responsible for overseeing the overall project implementation, including monitoring, evaluation, financial management, and reporting, as well as for communication and dissemination activities aimed at ensuring maximum visibility of the project initiatives and of the EURADRIA network. These activities also include the collection of data on the cross-border labour market and the enhancement of services supporting cross-border labour mobility.

In addition, Informest supervises partners in achieving the expected results and objectives, supporting employers through infodesks, launching the pilot action on skills-based recruitment, and contributing to improving business competitiveness through skills-based hiring processes, with a focus on cross-border mobility.
It also supervises partners in achieving the objectives of the planned activities by providing targeted support to jobseekers, cross-border workers and potential cross-border workers, including vulnerable groups, and by promoting inclusiveness and talent development through cross-border labour mobility.
Finally, Informest participates in project meetings, both technical and coordination-related, as well as in the kick-off and final conferences, information events where required, and in additional coordination meetings requested by the European Commission, acting as a link with other cross-border projects within the EURES network.
The European Commission carried out an institutional visit in Friuli Venezia Giulia within the EURADRIA 2026-2028 project. Regional measures for workers and companies, cross-border mobility services and the public employment services model were presented, with partners’ contributions and the EURES network, including visits to employment centres in Udine Trieste and meetings at regional employment offices.
