At the end of June the capacity-building cycle on Strategic Foresight for SFP project stakeholders concluded. The programme, structured around three webinars held on 18, 23, and 25 June, engaged institutions, research bodies and social partners across Friuli Venezia Giulia in discussions on foresight practices supporting public policies at regional and European levels and beyond.
Informest was awarded at Forum PA 2026 for the SFP project, recognized for its contribution to modernizing public administration and strengthening territorial cooperation. The initiative promotes strategic foresight methodologies, enhances regional skills, and fosters collaboration networks among institutions and stakeholders, improving public services and developing effective, replicable solutions across the territories involved in the project.
An article in “la Repubblica” highlights Informest’s journey from its 1990s origins to its current role supporting access to European funds. It features the SFP and ResilienCE projects, focused on strategic foresight and social economy, showing concrete impacts on governance, innovation, sustainable territorial development and European cooperation in Friuli Venezia Giulia with regional stakeholder engagement.
On 12 May 2026 in Udine, at the Sala Bravo of the Pordenone-Udine Chamber of Commerce, the second meeting of the training pathway promoted by Informest for the regional stakeholder group of the Strategic Foresight Partnership project took place, focusing on methods and phases for implementing future-oriented exercises in a shared regional context and learning.
On 27 April 2026 in Udine, Informest launched the training programme for the Strategic Foresight Partnership Regional Stakeholder Group. The initiative brought together 24 representatives from 13 organisations across Friuli Venezia Giulia, spanning education, regional institutions, universities and the economic sector, to promote skills exchange and dialogue on future perspectives.
On 4–5 March 2026, the partnership of the Strategic Foresight Partnership (SFP) project met in Helsinki for the second interregional exchange meeting, hosted by the Helsinki–Uusimaa Regional Council. The meeting represented an important learning opportunity focused on strategic foresight practices applied to public policies.
On 25 February 2026, at the Kugy Hall of the Regional Government Palace in Udine, Informest organised a meeting with regional stakeholders of the SFP – Strategic Foresight Partnership project, aimed at initiating a dialogue on the application of Strategic Foresight to education and training policies.
Informest’s commitment to promoting and disseminating Strategic Foresight continues consistently at both the European level and within the territory of Friuli Venezia Giulia, as part of the activities of the Interreg Europe SFP – Strategic Foresight Partnership project.
From October 13 to 15, 2025, Brussels hosted the European Week of Regions and Cities, the largest annual event dedicated to the European Union’s cohesion policy.
On May 13 and 14, 2025, the French city of Amiens hosted the launch meeting of the European project Strategic Foresight Partnership (SFP), funded by the Interreg Europe programme.
