On 28 October, CAPABLE held its sixth Regional Stakeholder Meeting in Friuli Venezia Giulia, sharing outcomes from the Vaslui Exchange of Experience. Stakeholders discussed care costs, home care sustainability, European models and regional practices. Co-housing, telemedicine and integrated care emerged as key areas for further exploration ahead of the next exchange in Spain.
From 20 to 22 October 2026, INFORMEST participated in the third CAPABLE Exchange of Experience in Vaslui, Romania, supporting the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, the project’s Lead Partner. The three-day event explored economic sustainability, home care, integrated social and healthcare services, caregiver training and innovative solutions to address demographic ageing across European regions.
The CAPABLE project participated in the Exchange of experience for our projects event on 15 April 2026, followed by Europe, let’s cooperate! 2026, the annual flagship event of the Interreg Europe Programme held in Copenhagen from 16 to 17 April 2026.
From 10 to 12 March 2026, the partners of the Interreg Europe CAPABLE project met in Dreieich and Neu Isenburg (Frankfurt) for the second Exchange of Experience (EoE) event of Semester 2, focused on improving training pathways and qualification systems for workers in the elderly care sector.
On 12 February 2026, the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia convened the main stakeholders involved in the project, including CISL, UIL, DOMINA and FIDALDO, for a hybrid meeting held in Trieste. The meeting provided an opportunity for discussion, operational coordination, and a shared update on ongoing activities.
During its first six months of activities, the CAPABLE project launched an initial regional analysis to better understand how care for older people is organised across the territories of the European partners.
The CAPABLE project addresses one of the most urgent challenges for the European Union: ensuring high-quality, innovative, and sustainable care services for older people, while at the same time creating dignified and attractive jobs in the care sector.
Informest notably supported the organization of the event and coordinated activities and partnerships, contributing to presentations with a focus on project implementation management, communication, and reporting.
