The 1st Thematic Meeting of the start-up phase (first semester) of the CAPABLE project was held remotely on 25 and 26 June. The meeting focused on an initial exchange of information on the situations and practical experiences in place in the territories of the individual Partners with regard to elderly people who need support from a carer. The topics addressed were the demographic situation of their territory (NUTS 2 level), with particular reference to the weight of the elderly population on the total population and an initial presentation of the structures (residential, semi-residential) and services available to the elderly person, their family members and carers.
