20 February 2026
On 12 February 2026, the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia convened the main stakeholders involved in the project, including CISL, UIL, DOMINA and FIDALDO, for a hybrid meeting held in Trieste. The meeting provided an opportunity for discussion, operational coordination, and a shared update on ongoing activities.
The meeting opened with a presentation by Informest, which outlined the project’s progress and provided an overview of the initiatives developed with the partners during the current semester. A key topic of discussion was the division of partners into two thematic clusters, one focused on “work” and the other on “care,” which made it possible to define shared priorities and challenges based on their respective areas of intervention.
Participants also examined the comparative work on “country systems,” developed to illustrate how the ecosystems of work and elderly care function in the different contexts represented in the CAPABLE project, fostering better mutual understanding.
Another point addressed concerned the identification of best practices to be promoted. At this stage, the two proposals submitted by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region — the FAP measure and the SI.CON.TE service — have been officially validated and published both on the CAPABLE project website and in the Interreg Europe database.
The Region also presented the preparatory activities for the upcoming Exchange of Experience meeting, which will take place in Germany, in Offenbach, from 10 to 12 March 2026. During this event, regional training programmes for care professionals and the national training initiatives promoted by the bilateral body EBINCOLF for family assistants will be presented.
The stakeholders’ contributions enriched the discussion, offering useful insights for the continuation of project activities.
