SeeNet Programme is based on a network of local authorities from Italy and South-East Europe that cooperate in order to strengthen the governance skills of involved territories, promote sustainable local development and enhance the EU integration process of SEE countries. In order to achieve the Programme objectives, there are foreseen two types of Actions: Horizontal Actions that will involve the whole partnership and Vertical Actions that will involve each italian partner in a specific thematic to be implemented in specific SEE territories. The Horizontal actions are so divided: Action A – Institutional Building; Action B – Information and dissemination; Action C – Research; Action D – Partnerships between South East Europe Local Authorities. While the Programme will implement nine vertical actions that can be grouped in four thematics: 1 – Valorisation of cultural tourism; 2 – Valorisation of rural areas and natural environment; 3 – SME support and cross-border entrepreneurial cooperation; 4 – Territorial planning and social services.
Technical Partner in the Vertical Actions leaded by the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto Region, specifically:
Vertical Action 3 A Transgrowth – Entrepreneurial Animation for the Transnational Growth of Integrated Local Productive Systems (Leaded by Region Friuli Venezia Giulia). The Action 3 A general objective is the enhancement of local production systems growth so as to promote economic cooperation between the areas involved. Its specific objective are: increase of the agricultural/food products and wood quality thanks to specific actions and pilots projects performed both at an institutional level and at the level of the economic operators of the main local production chains.
Vertical Action 1 A Promotion and Enhancement of cultural, historical and environmental heritage in the territories (Leaded by Veneto Region). The Action aims at promoting and enhancing the value of the involved territories cultural, historical and environmental heritage through common activities focused on territorial marketing and a promotional strategy.
