AGRONET

Realization of a permanent network of logistic, distribution and services infrastructure in the food industry chain of the Adriatic Area.

Project objective

AGRONET is a permanent network of logistic, distribution and service infrastructures in food production lines among the two Adriatic coasts. The general objective of the project is to develop transnational cooperation activities within the framework of the SME system in order to promote forms of commercial cooperation and investments in transnational areas.

Project activities

  • Setting up of a Sheering Committee in order to coordinate all activities;
  • Definition of a dissemination plan for the project to promote cooperation among countries;
  • Setting up of a observatory for implementation, management and development of a single agricultural and food production lines within the territory;
  • Providing outsourcing professional support and consultancy technical services;
  • Devising some guidelines to implement work process certification systems;
  • Endorsing agreements with Credit Institutes, in order to be granted dedicated banking lines and credit lines and some specifics forms of guarantees for exporting products and for structural investments of companies;
  • Setting up of a specific software programme for manage logistic platform;
  • Defining a protocol of intentions to establish an European Territorial Cooperation Group (GECT);
  • Benchmarking and training about the implementation of certification systems and the use of an information platform.

Expected results

  • Implementation of entrepreneurial methods based on the concept of cooperation within the framework of production lines in the Adriatic area, in order to maximize the potential for internationalization;
  • Fostering distribution and service systems in food production lines in order to strengthen enterprises with a perspective of transational cooperation;
  • Introduction of support measures for enterprises by applying certified productive systems and financial measures in order to increase investments, development and presence in the market;
  • Research and support to internationalization and spreading of the best practises about the organisation and management of production lines, also by means of public-private cooperation agreements on the development of territories;
  • Study and testing of new technologies and managerial techniques in production lines, in order to stimulate the introduction of techniques and solutions;

Promotion and use of joint ventures among economic subjects in different areas or countries.

In Udine the Seminar on “The AGRONET Project and the development of a network in the agro-food chain”.

On December 2 will be hold in Udine at the Salone delle Feste of the Hotel Astoria (XX Settembre Square, 24) the Seminar “The AGRONET Project and the development of a network in the agro-food chain”. The project benefits from funding from the IPA Adriatic Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013, and sees the participation of partners from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia and Italy.
