8 April 2026
The EURADRIA 2024–2026 project officially ended and project partners met in Gorizia on 23 March for the final event, which provided an important opportunity to exchange experiences and share results achieved within the current project as well as previous initiatives.
The meeting strengthened alignment among partner organisations, laying the groundwork for the upcoming EURADRIA 2026–2028 phase, set to begin in April.
Particular attention was given to data collection methods and their effectiveness, both in relation to workers and jobseekers and in interactions with employers. Partners confirmed that all milestones for the 2024–2026 period were achieved and that deliverables were completed on schedule.
The final operational meeting highlighted the progressive evolution of EURADRIA from a time-limited project initiative into a territorial service platform supporting cross-border labour mobility. In this context, participants stressed that the future effectiveness of the partnership will depend on its ability to consolidate operational practices and strengthen institutional cooperation mechanisms.
The discussion also provided an opportunity to assess the relevance of partnership activities in light of forthcoming European initiatives, including the expected Fair Labour Mobility Package and the upcoming Quality Jobs Package. In this framework, partners underlined the importance of actively contributing to consultation processes and ensuring that operational experience is translated into policy input.
Discussions highlighted the increasing complexity of cross-border labour mobility services, pointing out that the availability of reliable and comparable data represents a key precondition for the future positioning of such partnerships.
Operational experience shared during the meeting confirmed that cross-border workers continue to face recurring administrative and legal obstacles. In this context, partners also recognised the importance of strengthening engagement with employers as key actors in cross-border labour mobility.
The meeting ultimately confirmed the increasingly important role of cross-border labour mobility partnerships such as EURADRIA in supporting the functioning of the European labour market.
