On Tuesday, May 9, 2025, starting at 4:00 PM, the workshop titled “Agri-food supply chains & circular bioeconomy: green innovation” will take place at Hotel Moderno in Pordenone. The event is organized within the framework of the BioTech2Agri project, co-financed by the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Programme, and represents a key opportunity for discussion and exchange on sustainable innovation in the agri-food sector.
The BioTech2Agri project is promoted by Informest, in collaboration with FAB FVG – Agrifood & Bioeconomy Foundation FVG and Venetian Cluster. On the Slovenian side, the Regional Development Agency ROD Ajdovščina, the Science and Research Centre Koper – ZRS Koper, and the Primorska Technology Park are involved.
During the workshop, participants will explore the biotech potential of the cross-border area and the innovation opportunities for agri-food supply chains, with insights from sector experts, universities, research centers, and innovative companies active in the bioeconomy.
This meeting will also serve as a valuable opportunity to foster dialogue among actors of the circular bioeconomy, promoting synergies and cross-border collaborations between Italy and Slovenia.
