Project objectives:

The project aimed at organising an Ideas Competition to identify and design an international multicultural and multifunctional Youth Centre, likely to be built in the Northern area of the City earlier occupied by the Civil Hospital, and at drafting a feasibility plan for the renovation/requalification of the target area.

Project activities:

• Identification of the permanent Steering Committee;
• Management and technical coordination of the project;
• Publication of the European call for the ideas competition;
• Evaluation of the project proposals;
• Fund raising to implement the renovation activities;
• Promotion activities.

Expected results:

• Identification of the Evaluation Committee;
• Draft and publication of the call;
• Collection and evaluation of the submitted proposals;
• Identification of the financing opportunities;
• Seminars with the stakeholders;
• Release of a publication and organisation of an exhibition to present the project and the winning ideas;
• Organisation of cross-border seminars to launch the renovation process.
