Objectives
Internationalization of the study program of Adriatic secondary schools
Creation of an Adriatic program for students’ mobility at secondary school level
Creation of an institutional network of Adriatic School Authorities which develops criteria for mutual recognition of
secondary school programs and diplomas to increase students’ mobility opportunities.
Project activities
– Creation of KEPASS program for students’ mobility at secondary school level for the Adriatic Area
– Launch of the first Call for accrediting schools within the KEPASS mobility program
– Creation of a tool (the accreditation system) to drive schools towards more competitive and up to date education offer and assess it
– Monitoring visits to assess schools for accreditation
– Training workshop for school principals
– Training program for teachers of the accredited schools
– Pilot mobility for aged 17/18 in another Adriatic country for one term
– Definition of and assessment tool to measure the competences acquired by students during mobility
– Horizontal mainstreaming of the KEPASS program
– Presentations of the project results to Decision Makers in the Cooperation Area, EU representatives, EU delegation.
Results
– Increased formal, informal and non formal competences in students who participate in the mobility program
– Increased attractiveness and competitiveness of secondary schools accredited in the KEPASS program
– Mutual recognition of vocational diplomas in specific sectors of interest
– Creation of “International Modules” to be then added to the ordinary curriculum of each school receiving accreditation in the KEPASS system
