The project aims to the valorization of autochthonous wine and horticultural species depending on the specificity of the target territories. This objective will be fulfilled through the transfer of know-how and the analysis of best practices of the regional territory. Moreover, the project purpose is to provide with tools for the development of the rural tourism through the valorization of local products of Istria Region and the County of Osijek Baranja.
Specific objectives are:
– improvement of the species and of autochthonous production in the partner territories;
– transfer of scientific know-how and best practices in the wine, olive, fruit and horticultural sectors;
– start up of the process of compliance with the EU production standards;
– In-depth analysis concerning the creation of brand for agricultural products linked to the geographical zone and to the unique processes of transformation and production;
– strengthening of the collaboration net among bodies and institutions of Region Friuli Venezia Giulia and the territories partner of the project.
Support in the identification of a set of typical local products
– Education in the touristic and agricultural sectors
– Support in the organization of events for the promotion of wine products
– Cross-border study tour linked to training activities
– Strengthening of an autochthonous horticultural production
– Organization of the event “The white night of tastes of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Istria, between land and sea”
– Follow up activities in support of local producers
