On Wednesday, 23 September 2026, the conference “Bioeconomy in Action: Agri-Food Value Chains of the Future” will take place as the final event of the BioTech2Agri project, organised by the Agrifood & Bioeconomy FVG Foundation.

The afternoon will be dedicated to discussing the future of agri-food production and the value of sustainable innovation for businesses, bringing together institutions, research organisations and companies from the cross-border area.

Following the institutional welcome addresses, the results of the BioTech2Agri project and bioeconomy innovations for sustainable agriculture will be presented.

Two panels featuring Italian and international experts will analyse the main technological and market trends affecting the sector, as well as the strategic and economic value of investing in innovation and sustainability. The event will conclude with a focus on the European partnerships FutureFoods and Agroecology, which contribute to shaping the agri-food systems of the future.

Italian-Slovene interpretation will be provided. The day will conclude with a networking dinner.
