Cross-border work between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Slovenia, safety, disability, taxation, sick pay, family allowances: those are the issues that will be discussed under the EURADRIA2019 project, funded by the UE Program for occupation and social innovation EaSI.

The project has been launched the 1st January 2019 and it will lasts 12 months. It is leaded by the Work, training, education and family Central Department of the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia, which is supported by Informest as “affiliated entity”.

EURADRIA2019 has the privilege of having significant partnerships within, which guarantee a qualified assistance activity to both employees and companies: the main actors in the labour segment of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Slovenia are involved, same as employer associations, trade union organisations, charitable institution (patronati) with specific knowledge about cross-border and Service for Work and Chamber of Commerce.

As a result of EURADRIA2019, in order to respond to both employees and employers’ needs, virtual and physical spaces will be completely renewed; EURADRIA2019 web platform  will become a bilingual (Italian/Slovenian) One stop shop, providing practical information and a smart navigation thanks to the chat boot moreover it will host videos and webinars.

The Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia has further established a permanent cross-border observatory, aimed at detecting and measuring the trend and the dynamics which characterize cross-border market.

The activity has started after the first meeting that took place the 19th February 2019 in Trieste. During the event the participants remarked the great meaning and value of the partnership that, thanks to all the skills and experiences that every single entity brings into the group, will lead to a new solutions and concrete tools for the obstacles which persist on cross-border work between Italy and Slovenia.
