Mapping of social care services of the Care project

9 April 2018

The second meeting between the CaRe project partner, funded by the Interreg V Italy-Austria program and aimed at identifying a common model of Case & Care management for the management of social welfare services for the elderly was held on April 5th.

Hosted by the partner IPAB Vicenza, a public institution providing assistance to non-self-sufficient people, partners defined the minimum criteria for the mapping of existing social welfare services, necessary to proceed with the identification of common needs and the definition of a best practice model for the construction of the Case & Care manager profile. This figure, quite new in the Italian profile, has the role to manage and coordinate the social-assistance services of elderly people and to support their families and caregivers.

For Friuli Venezia Giulia, the project is joined by UTI Mediofriuli and the Healthcare Company no. 3 “Alto Friuli – Collinare – Medio Friuli”, while Informest was involved by the UTI in support of the management of communication activities.

The next appointment is scheduled for June, for the analysis of the collected data, while in October, a public event will be organized in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region in conjunction with the start of the 12 months of pilot activity in the territory.
