In the frame of the MECOM (mechanics and component parts at Kragujevac) project, funded by the regional law 19/2000, on Tuesday 12th of March at 4.30 p.m. a conference on the opportunities for Friuli Venezia Giulia enterprises in the Serbian automotive sector will be held in Pordenone, at the Technological Pole (project LP), with a particular focus on the Kragujevac area.
MECOM general objective is the activation of economic and research relationships between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Central Serbia regions, with a particular focus on the Kragujevac industrial area, via a programme aimed at technical assistance, reinforcement of competences and training support to the local business community and institutions.
The conference will particularly focus on the mechanics and component parts sector as well as on the entire production chain, including automotive, renewable energies and special purpose machine-tools. MECOM also aims at creating new projects involving both actors of the Friuli Venezia Giulia and Kragujevac area: among other examples the partnership for the launching of a technological and scientific park.
