Day 1: Kick-off and Steering Committee
The event opened on October 21 at the Urban Center in Trieste with a warm welcome and introductory presentations. Afternoon sessions focused on project management updates, communication strategies and activities, and financial reporting procedures. The day concluded with institutional greetings at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, followed by a networking cocktail that offered participants the opportunity to connect informally.

Day 2: Experience Exchange
On October 22, the Urban Center hosted a full day of discussions and presentations. Morning sessions focused on Italian best practices and elderly care and home care policies in Italy and the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. Participants also analyzed the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) and its implications for the elderly care sector.
In the afternoon, partners shared best practices from Germany, Romania, and Ukraine, followed by group work and a reflection session. The day ended with a summary discussion and the official launch of the next experience exchange meeting and its theme.

Day 3: Study Visits
The final day, October 23, was dedicated to study visits to local facilities. Participants were divided into two groups to visit a co-housing facility managed by Cooperativa Amico and the Trieste Employment Center. The event concluded with final greetings and a convivial lunch at the Urban Center, marking the end of a productive and inspiring meeting.

The event confirmed the strong commitment of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region to promoting innovation, social inclusion, and the development of sustainable elderly care models at both local and European levels.
