The project originated from the requirement of promoting professional updating of Russian operators in the marketing and commercial fields in order to provide them with the fit competence to support the productive sector through the trading of Italian products in Russia. The initiative consisted in the training of 30 Russian agents, using both classical training (lessons and internships in Italy) and e-learning courses, in order to create a distribution network in Russia for supporting the development of commercial relations between Russia and Italy. The project was meant to give the following results: to increase the bilateral exchanges between Russia and Italy; to improve the Russian SME sector thanks to the commercial network created by the project; to contribute to the creation of a new professional role (commercial agent) that is nowadays still quite unknown in Russia. The project consisted in the following phases: 1. candidate selection; 2. distance learning training; 3. elaboration of the feasibility study after the training period and the achievement of results.

Specialized training during class lessons and laboratory exercises.
Organization of study tours abroad and internships in companies.
Organization of on-the-job activities (6 months long).
Monitoring activity during the whole implementation of the project.
