Project objectives:

• The development of integrated economic relations between the reality of Republika Srpska and the FVG;
• The development of local support policies in relation to production systems and business clusters;
• Spreading of knowledge to the local PPP in relation to SME systems and of the system of Chambers of Commerce for the growth of SMEs;
• Raising participant’s awareness and understanding of the systems for relations between companies, representative associations and territorial institutions;
• The strengthening and consolidating of the entrepreneurial Associations as well as their promotion and creation where they are lacking;
• Economic and production integration between the local and economic realities, with particular emphasis on the wood sector.

Project activities:

• Establishment of the Local Operating Unit;
• Identification and assessment of the needs of the local beneficiaries;
• Group seminars with the representatives of the organizations identified;
• The spreading of knowledge related to the principles that govern Community policies for the development of SMEs;
• The transferring of best practices related to the operation of innovation and technology transfer centres;
• The selection of 10 candidates to participate in a study visit in Friuli Venezia Giulia over a period lasting 5 working days;
• Creation of a project website and creation of an information network between the local reality and the FVG one;
• Formulation of proposals for the involvement of the companies of the Republika Srpska in activities of a trans national nature directed towards other markets.
