Project objectives:

• Support to the SME sector and to the local institutions through an investment programme aimed at developing the coastal areas of the Eastern Adriatic, traditionally linked with the sea and fishery;
• Construction and reconstruction of fish markets and strengthening of all logistic facilities connected with the fishery sector;
• Strengthening of the economic co-operation and trade between Croatian and Italian SMEs of the fishery sector.

Project activities:

• Preparation of a feasibility study highlighting the weak structural and infrastructural aspects of the production activities on the Adriatic coast;
• Investments for building the fish market facilities in the cities of Pula and Rijeka;
• Realisation of the fish markets;
• Training for the staff to be employed in the fish markets.
