Project objectives:
The aim of the Research project is the capitalization of the results achieved in the European Programming period 2007-2013 on the measures/actions adopted for the conservation, management and conservation of natural capital alpine water basins and soil, in order to promote and disseminate the positive results achieved and the related development models (Best Practices) through the international dimension of the Alpine Convention.
Project activities:
• Selection of the best projects approved in the programming period 2007-2013 strictly related to the Project and the Alpine Convention topics, in order to transfer the best development models in the Alpine context;
• Final selection of the projects in order to identify the “Best Practices” implemented in the three ETC Programmes considered in this Project in order to transfer results and ideas in the Alpine Convention.
Expected results:
• Development of methods which create policy changes at transnational level (for example, definition of common strategies and communication between Partners, new tools for the long-term management of water resources, transnational exchange of experiences).
