On Wednesday, 18 March, at the Informest headquarters in Gorizia, a seminar was held dedicated to examining issues related to water, the environment and development, promoted as an opportunity for practical discussion among the stakeholders involved at the regional level.

The initiative followed in continuity with the webinar “Water, Environment and Development: Global Challenges and Cooperation Perspectives”, held on 6 March and organized by the CEI as part of the activities of the FVG Community of Practice.

The meeting with international development cooperation practitioners in the Region offered an important opportunity to analyse the challenges, priorities and needs that emerged during the activities of regional organisations.

During the session, the solutions adopted to address the identified critical issues were presented and discussed, highlighting the experiences and best practices developed in different contexts.
Significant attention was devoted to exploring possible operational approaches, forms of synergy and integrated cross-sectoral actions, with reference to infrastructure, services, the economy and the social dimension.

The exchange among participants helped identify shared pathways and strengthen collaboration between institutions and organisations.
The seminar also served as a strategic moment of guidance ahead of upcoming funding opportunities, including those related to FVG calls, offering an updated overview of future development and cooperation prospects.
