Informest also participated in Ajdovščina on September 11 as one of the speakers in the panel dedicated to the role of regional development agencies in promoting the Twin Transition – green and digital – in Europe.
After a first day focused on the role of Knowledge Parks as catalysts of territorial innovation, the second day of Cluster Meet Regions – an initiative of the European Commission organized by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP), aimed at strengthening the link between industrial clusters, regional authorities, and SMEs – featured Informest in the panel, presenting the participatory experience of the Municipality of Udine. From a European project, a territorial participatory approach was developed to engage local stakeholders and share common goals for urban and social regeneration, creating a replicable model of inclusive and sustainable governance.
The exchange of experiences with the Croatian Regional Development Agency of the City of Zagreb, the Slovenian Regional Development Agency of Podravje, and the Croatian Regional Development Agency of Zadar confirmed how development agencies can act as facilitators of change, translating European strategies into concrete actions that respond to community needs.
It was an important meeting for Informest, hosted by ROD Ajdovščina, the Regional Development Agency of Slovenia’s Vipava Valley, with which Informest actively collaborates on projects within the INTERREG Italy – Slovenia 2021–2027 Programme, including BioTech2Agri.
The BioTech2Agri project itself was presented during the first day of Cluster Meet Regions as an example of cross-border collaboration to promote sustainable technologies.
