On Wednesday, July 23 at 11:30 AM, the second Italian-language webinar will be held to present the TORRENT project – Common Practices for Risk Reduction in the Management of Torrent Watersheds, developed within the Interreg Italy–Slovenia Programme.
The project involves the participation of: University of Udine, Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, University of Ljubljana, and the Regional Development Center Koper.

The TORRENT project aims to establish shared guidelines for monitoring and maintaining torrent control works in Italy and Slovenia, using remote sensing technologies and historical data. It seeks to improve basin management, facilitate cooperation among authorities, and strengthen resilience to climate change in vulnerable and critical areas through coordinated strategies, standardized methods, and cross-border collaboration.
