On the 10th and the 11th of April, in Trieste, was held the kick off meeting of the UnderwaterMuse territorial cooperation project funded by Interreg Italy-Croatia Program.

The partnership, led by ERPAC, supported by INFORMEST, is composed by Italian and Croatian foundations and research institution such as: Cà Foscari University, Puglia Region, Kastel City (Croatia) and Split County Development Agency – RERA.

The project will last 30 months with a budget of € 1,286,930. UnderwaterMuse incorporates the principles of Faro Convention and aims at the enhancement, promotion and usability of the underwater archaeological heritage of the partner territories thanks to innovative actions and a continue dialogue with its stakeholder.

Underwater tourist routes, virtual reality, augmented reality and also training for tour operators are some of the activities proposed and promoted by the Project.

The next partner meeting is scheduled for the next October at the Kastel Museum (Croatia).
