Launch event of SECAP project: support to energy policies and climate adaptation.

Informest will work alongside the Central Directorate for environment and energy of the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia for the management of the Strategic Project “Support to energy and climate adaptation policies” (acronym SECAP), funded under the Crossborder Cooperation Program V-A Interreg Italy-Slovenia 2014-2020 whose launch event will be the next 19th February 2019 at the Sala Tessitori of Regional Council in Trieste.

The Project aims at offering a practical support to the area partner Municipalities for the adoption and execution of sustainable energetic policies and of climate changes adaptation.

The event is an opportunity to show the finalities of the project, and so go for a transaction from SEAP to SECAP, providing for an energetic planning improvement from local operators, an increase of the energy saving, an enhancement of renewable energy, a CO2 consume reduction and the adoption of mitigation measures related to the current climate variations.

Ten partners are involved, from Italy and Slovenia. The Region Friuli Venezia Giulia, which is supported by Informest, is flanked by the University of Trieste, the AREA Science Park in Trieste, the Metropolitan City of Venice, IUAV University from Venice and Unioncamere of Veneto, GOLEA (Energy Agency of Nova Gorica); LEAG (Energy Agency of Gorenjske), RRA LUR (Regional Development Agency for the urban city of Ljubljana) and the Municipality of Pivka.
