MER project’s final conference: SMART GREEN COMMUNITIES – new governance and policies

On 11th December, MER project’s final conference will be held at the Accademia delle Scienze (address: via Zamboni 31, Bologna); the Province of Bologna joins the project as its Lead Partner. The conference is open to the public; internationally recognized lecturers will be participating: William Gilles (IMODEV Paris), Irene Bouhadana (University Paris 1 Phantéon – Sorbonne), Matteo Caroli (LUISS Rome), Pauline Deutz (University of Hull – UK and vice president of the International Sustainable Development Research Society).

The main contents and aims will be Promoting discussion on topics of local marketing, smart communities and sustainability policies; Building up synergies, interactions and concrete opportunities for cooperation at European level; Presenting tools and best practices designed to increase the attractiveness of the MED area; Illustrating results of the European project MER.
