Thanks to the project “Adristorical lands”, funded by the IPA Adriatic programme and aimed at promoting tourism in our historic towns and fortified cities, and with the active partnership of Informest, our region has been visited these days by a select number of professionals of the sports tourism sector, in the frame o fan educational tour organizza with the joint collaboration of Veneto Region, Veneto Walled Town association and Marittime Museum of Piran.

The programme, which included a tour of Duino, Palmanova Aquileia and the Marano Lagunare lagoon, raised great interest especially thanks to the uniqueness and excellence of this type of offer, addressed to a tourist who pays close attention to cultural and naturalistic aspects.
“We will no doubt promote this territory among our reference markets: the union between nature and culture, the authenticity of the product, the short distances and the intermodality are the strengths of this region”, commented the operators, also expressing their gratitude for the extraordinary opportunity that was given them.
