KEPASS Project: Kick off meeting – Trieste 17th-18th January 2013

KEPASS project, focused on mobility and study in the Adriatic area, will start in Triesteon January 17th , with a meeting to be attended by policy makers of education in the countries involved:Albania,Bosnia and Herzegovina,Croatia,Italy,Montenegro andSlovenia. Project leader of cross-border cooperation is Friuli Venezia Giulia Region – Directorate for education, university, research, family policies, association activity and cooperation.

The event will be used primarily to define the project plan and identify coordinators and will continue the next day with a second work session extended to technical referents called to set up times and how to involve all educational institutions existing in various realities into account.

The project aims to lay the foundations for the integration of the various school systems in order to enhance the quality of the school in connection with the labour market, as well as to enhance relations between the various territories.

ForItalywill participate, in addition to Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, Marche Region, theUnitedWorldCollegeof theAdriaticand the Ministry of Education, University and Research. It is foreseen the presence of Informest that, thank to the experience gained in particular in relations with the Balkan and Central European, will be responsible for ensuring the operational coordination of all phases of Kepass.
