The European Commission has presented on October 19 the draft of the plan “Connecting Europe Facility” for the development of European infrastructure networks until 2030. The EU plan, which also affects the energy and the digital networks future, has redrawn the European TEN-T transport infrastructure created since the ’90s.

As for the North-East of Italy, are confirmed the horizontal line of transport (formerly Corridor 5) and the Brenner, while the new decision of interest for the North-East Italian area is given by the institution of the new Baltic-Adriatic corridor.
