The annual Conference of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) took place on October 13-15 in Antwerpen (Belgium). The Conference, organized with the cooperation of the European Presidency, saw the participation of 800 partners from all over Europe, engaged in a serie of workshops, round tables, and other events, among which the ceremony for the assignement of the "Best Practice Awards".

These awards are assigned by the European Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (EACI) to the best practices in the field of business support services. This year, one of the awards has been assigned to the Consortium "Friend Europe" - covering the north-eastern part of Italy - for having realized an efficient IT solution to facilitate companies to find the right answer to their needs. This solution, fully designed and developed by INFORMEST on behalf of the Consortium, implements the so called 'no-wrong-door' concept, one of the core issues of the EEN.

<< This important reward assigned to Informest by the European Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation  >> - says the Informest's deputy President, Silvia Acerbi - << is a very prestigious result for our organization, a clear demonstration of the Informest's capacity to design and realize innovative solutions, even with advanced technological components, to support the local system of enterprises and help it to afford the global market. >>

The competition for the awards has been quite high, considered that the Enterprise Europe Network includes more than 580 organizations from 45 Countries, offering the enterprises a wide set of support services to access new markets, request and offer new technologies, and benefit from the financing opportunities by the European Union.
