ITHREU main objective is supporting Croatia in the integration process towards the European Union. The project provides a technical assistance to the representatives of the Croatian public agencies/ministries, in particular in the sectors of SMEs, energy, environment and construction in order to transfer the Italian good practices and expertises focused on a complete industrial re-conversion and a stronger development of the Croatian productive system and an enforcement of the direct Italian investment in Croatia.

Project activities:

• Organization of the Italian-Croatian Economic Fora on mid-years basis;
• Creation of a web site dedicated to the Economic Fora;
• Organization of workshops to identify partnerships between Italia and Croatia;
• Analysis of the needs of the Italian-Croatian cooperation;
• Supplying of 50 days of training and technical assistance for Croatian public officers;
• Study-tour in Italia for the Croatian public officers;
• Territorial marketing analysis of interchange and cooperation between Italia and Croatia to define the most interesting sectors;
• Elaboration of a promotional plan and brochure;
• Joint participation of Italian and Croatian delegations in two International fairs on third markets.

• Efficacy of the Italian-Croatian Economic Fora;
• Strengthening of the Croatian governance;
• Development of a integrated planning;
• Acceleration in the last phase of the Croatia adhesion process to the European standards;
• Strengthening of the cooperation between the Italian and Croatian economic and productive systems;
• Development of a territorial marketing plan;
• Increase of the Italian-Croatian collaboration in productive, economic and trades fields.
