REMIDA and MER Projects are cooperating together again in Friuli Venezia Giulia (Italy) for a 4 day local trainings and events focused on: energy efficiency, renewable energy, smart energy communities, industrial areas sustainable development, green marketing and green economy.

The trainings will be held from September 2nd to September 4th, while on September 5th a final conference open to the public will gather all the participants together in order to share ideas, knowledge and tools on the mentioned topics.

The trainings will be structured as mini-twinnings during which selected experts acting as trainer will provide best practices and lesson learned on energy optimization in urban planning, innovative solution on energy efficiency and establishment of Public Private Partnerships (PPPs). The topics related to: green marketing sector and good practices for sustainable and responsible economic development in industrial areas are examined and deepened on the first day.

Specifically the events will have the following schedule:

September 2nd, Europalace Hotel Monfalcone (Italy): sustainable development and energy efficiency in the industrial sector transfer of best practices and know-how;

September 3rd, Municipality of Gorizia (Italy), Technical Training: instruments and systems for energy efficiency in public buildings;

September 4th, morning, Municipality of Gorizia (Italy): PPPs, energy planning and energy efficiency, transfer of best practices on public buildings and urban planning in the municipal area;

September 4th, afternoon, Fondazione Villa Russiz, Capriva del Friuli (Italy): PPPs, energy planning and energy efficiency, transfer of best practices in the agri-food sector;

September 5th, Palazzo Attems, Gorizia (Italy): final conference aimed at presenting the results of the training and at opening a discussion about the governance of the industrial areas and their role in the economic policies for regional development.

The events will be held in Italian while on the final conference due to the cross-border position of Gorizia that is also part of the EGTC -GO, Slovenian translation will provided.

An English wrap up video will be delivered on the Youtube channels and social media after the conclusion of the activities. Stay tuned!
