In the framework of the decentralised cooperation project AGROWINE, funded by ex R.L. 19/2000, an exchange of know-how took place among the LAGs (Local Action Groups) of Friuli Venezia Giulia and representatives of private and public sector of Istria involved in the rural development.

Last 17th of June a delegation from Istria, composed by 40 representatives of Istria Region, of local municipalities, of the Agency for the Rural Development of Istria, as well as producers of local products, was hosted by the LAG “Open Leader”, in collaboration with Informest and the Istrian Agency for Development AZZRI.

The study visit enabled to evaluate with more attention some successful projects, funded by European grants and coordinated by GALs, and promote new partnerships between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Istria in consideration of the forthcoming entrance of Croatia into the European Union.
