Last Friday the 31^st of August the Mountain Week “Nature, Mountain and Culture without borders”, organized by Monfalcone municipality with the support of JULIUS project, was inaugurated. A large public assisted to the opening evening, listening to the words of the mountaineer poet Mauro Corona. Ten days fully dedicated to the lovers of mountain, with a very rich programme of expositions, books presentations, bands performances, excursions, conferences and famous guests (Nives Meroi, Mauro Corona and many others) dedicated to Mountain,outdoor activities and natural beauties of cross border area.

Also next Thursday 6^th September, the winner of the photograph competition published by Monfalcone municipality in the frame of JULIUS project will be announced. It will allow to promote, by the representative power of pictures, the beauty of the nature of the Italian-Slovenian cross-border territory. The LP, Municipality of Monfalcone and Informest will introduce the event by presenting project objectives, activities and expected results.
