The New Free economic zone in Balti (Moldova)

Since the beginning of 2010 is operating the New Free Economic Zone of Balti, in Northern Moldova. It is   the seventh off-shore reality in the country since the adoption of the Law on FZ in July 2001. The Zone, comprising a first already active area and a second broader space under preparation, totaling 12 hectares, is located in a prominent position, benefiting from ongoing economic development of the Balti district and of the relationship with the neighboring areas of Romania and Ukraine. The first active investor was a German industrial society operating in the automotive, which are now added four other joint ventures.
