It will be held in Aalborg (Denmark) on May 25th the technical workshop “High indoor environmental quality and energy efficient ventilation in renovated school buildings: winning concepts and examples”, organized by #Politecnico Milano, partner of RenewSchool project.
The meeting, which is part of the 2016 World Climate Conference, will focus on the techniques and innovative strategies for improving air quality, thermal efficiency and ventilation systems applied in school buildings projects, emphasizing in particular onconversion of interventions for building envelopes in most energy efficiency and integration of renewable energy systems.
They will be also presented results of recent researches in the field, scientific analysis on the achievement of #NZEB (nearly zero energy buildings), studies and real examples cases, focusing on the effects that such infrastructure improvements have on learning.
The project Renew School aims at promoting the retrofit of school buildings through the use of a system of outer coating made from prefabricated modular elements in wood. This wood envelope to “coat” the buildings has many advantages over the traditional measures based on the use of synthetic materials: • Healthiness of the material, • […]
