Informest reaffirms its role as a key player in European cooperation: in the third call for small-scale projects under the INTERREG CENTRAL EUROPE Programme, the RESILIENCE project – REsilient, Sustainable and Innovative sociaL ENtrepreneurship in Central Europe – submitted by Informest as Lead Partner, has been selected.
The project, which will run for 18 months starting in January 2026 with a total budget of €668,500.00, aims to support the development of peripheral areas – rural and mountainous – in Central Europe by addressing the challenges affecting these territories, such as low economic development, lack of services, depopulation, and marginalization. To tackle these issues, the project seeks to strengthen the skills of social economy enterprises as both a response and a potential solution to territorial challenges, and as drivers of change to unlock economic potential.
Through a transnational capacity-building programme dedicated to social economy enterprises, focused on enhancing green and digital skills and promoting change management, the project aims to trigger transformation by developing concrete solutions, models, or services that are market-ready and aligned with the needs of local communities.
In addition to Informest, RESILIENCE involves the Support Centre for Non-Governmental Organizations in Bialystok (Poland), the Hungarian Economic Development Agency in Budapest, the Herman Potočnik Noordung Space Technology Centre in Vitanje (Slovenia), and the Slovak Business Agency in Bratislava. In Friuli Venezia Giulia, Legacoop has also been engaged as an associated partner.
An Italian success in European cooperation: the third call saw the submission of 140 projects, of which only 25 were approved for funding. With these latest additions, the Programme now finances a total of 125 projects in the Central European area.
A significant achievement for INFORMEST, confirming its role as a key actor for the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, capable of attracting important resources for social economy enterprises and addressing territorial challenges.
