Project objectives:

The objective of this project was to increase domestic and foreign direct investment (FDI) through the further institutional development of the Investment Promotion Agency and the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Project activities:

• Institutional and capacity building of the Investment Promotion Agency; 
• Establishment of a twinning agreement between the MTI/IPA and two EU economic development agencies; 
• Policy development to support domestic and international investment; 
• Planning and implementation of activities that attract FDI and promote Kosovo exports.

Expected results:

• Training activities;
• At least 2 twinning agreements between the MTI/IPA and two EU economic development agencies;
• Two international events in Kosovo or the EU to enhance the country’s participation.
