Objectives
– Strengthen the system of vocational training in the Adriatic-Ionian area in EUSAIR strategic sectors
– Encouraging mobility of knowledge and the creation of professional paths aimed to support the strategic value chain of Adriatic-Ionian area
– Promotion of a feasibility study on the harmonization of education and VET system in the Adriatic-Ionian Macroregion;
– Creation of synergies among KEPASS and DELMVET project partners in order to expand the existing network of schools and VET centres and transferring good practices and results issued by previous projects;
-Valorisation of previous initiatives by extending the kind of target groups to be addressed, involving technical and vocational institutes, private sectors and policy makers.
Project activities
-Definition of a Work Plan based on the capitalization of previous project achievements
-Creation of working group with Vocational and Training schools of Adriatic area for the definition of international training modules specific for Maritime and Tourism institutes
-Organization of summer schools addressed to teachers of the schools networks
-Drafting of a feasibility study for the harmonization of vocational and educational schemes for Maritime and Tourism poles in Adriatic area
Results
• Support in the implementation of EUSAIR actions of pillars 1 “Blue Growth” and 4 “Sustainable Tourism”
• Supporting the reinforcement of an Adriatic-Ionian Macroregion of knowledge based on a mobility system and the mutual recognition of skills
• Strengthening the education (secondary school level) and Vocational Educational Training system of the Adriatic-Ionian Area
• Improve the competitiveness of Maritime and Tourism Sector through the reinforcement of the education value chain from schools to industry
Responsible for the overall project implementation, link between partners, activities/initiatives for the working groups organization, project coordination, institutional cooperation, strategy definition.
