EA SEA-WAY Project: Cross fertilization event, 4 February 2014, Trieste

INFORMEST together with Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia – Central Directorate for infrastructure, mobility, spatial planning, public works, university organises the first cross-fertilization event in the framework of EA SEA-WAY Project: “SHARING FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCES IN ACCESSIBILITY AND MOBILITY OF PASSENGERS”, Tuesday 4th February 2014, h 14.30, Hotel Savoia Excelsior Palace, Riva del Mandracchio, 4 – Trieste.

The event is organised in the framework of EA SEA-WAY: Europe Adriatic Sea Way, strategic project approved by  IPA Adriatic CBC Programme 2007-2013, leaded by Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and in which Informest is partner. 

The project of a value of more than 6 million euros aims to improve the accessibility and the mobility of passengers across the Adriatic area and its hinterland, through the development of new sustainable and integrated transport services and the improvement of physical infrastructures related to those new services.

The activities implemented by the 20 partners involved will bring to increase passenger traffic flow in the Adriatic basin, to a better integration of Adriatic port system with hinterland and airports, rail yards, urban areas and main tourist destinations by sustainable public transport services; improve passenger services in the Adriatic area;  to  a more efficient and sustainable passenger mobility.

The event is the occasion to capitalise the experiences of other projects and to share lessons of on-going and past initiatives useful for the activities of EA SEA-WAY.
