On 18th December will be held in Trieste (IT) the event “Friuli Venezia Giulia and Albania: together for the integration of disability”. The event is organised in the framework of the project ADRIA3, financed by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Regional Law 19/2000.

This initiative rised from the identification of some common issues of  associations operating in Albania in the context of disability and inclusion of disabled people in work, in particular:

– The lack of a classification of disability;

– The lack of funds to support ongoing activities and for the development of new services, the need for exchange of know-how and transfer of good practices with similar organizations operating in Europe (establishing partnerships);

– The need  to raise awareness on disability and social inclusion (rural extremely poor and culturally backward).

The event will be an occasion for networking,  aimed to transfer knowledge and create new partnerships between associations and organizations from Friuli Venezia Giulia and Albania.
Speakers include representatives of institutions and associations of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Albania.
