JULIUS partnership will also be present at the 10^th edition of the Bruxelles “Open Days” as  example of best practice in territorial cooperation: this represents a great opportunity both for the project and for the Italian-Slovenian programme. On the 10^th of October the FVG Region President Tondo will inaugurate the partnership meeting which will be held in the FVG Region seat in Bruxelles. JULIUS will thus have the chance of proposing itself as a reference point for future initiatives where sport and the contact between man and nature will become a mean of integration at cross-border level thanks to an agenda rich in events and initiatives.

A month rich in initiatives for JULIUS project is starting.

It has begun this week with the organization of the “Mountain week” by the Postumia municipality (JULIUS project partner) with several days dedicated to the promotion of the alpine sports and of the mountain culture and specifically targeted to preschool children through cartoons showing and telling of fairy tails, histories and legends on the animals of the mountains.

On Sunday, the 07^th of October the Triglav National Park, JULIUS project partner, will organize a walk along Soca river, with departure at 09 o’clock from the Soca Church. On the way the main characteristics of the river ecosystem as well as the impact of human activities on it will be explained.

On the 14^th of October an unmissable event ion Codroipo, where the municipality will organize the “ArrampiMeeting” in collaboration with the local CAI and in the frame of the JULIUS events calendar: a day fully dedicated to climbing activities with a competition and sport events that will be held in the climbing indoor sports hall, which equipment is part of JULIUS activities.

Therefore, a month rich in events and initiatives, with the aim of spreading the practice of sports in the nature and of valorizing both the cultural heritage and the landscape of the cross-border region.
