The Workshop »PROGETTO DIVA: le pilot actions sul territorio Veneto« on June 23 had SMEs and CCIs as protagonists who, together with the Creative Hub Veneto, completed (with great success) seven pilot projects in the Veneto area. Led by the journalist and writer Maurizio Crema, the project teams told their stories and shared with the audience, albeit online, the remarkable results achieved, which opened the doors to future collaboration prospects. During the meeting, the new content of the Creative Hub Veneto website was also presented, now enriched with interviews with representatives of pilot projects, mapping results and the selection of tools from the DIVA toolkit.

 
 

On 31st May 2022, the Slovenian partners of the DIVA project gathered at the workshop "Transfer of knowledge and experience between SLO HUB units", hosted by the Technology Park Ljubljana. The participants exchanged experiences regarding the operation of HUBs and cooperation with DIVA pilot projects and prepared for the 2nd workshop, which will be held on 10th June in the Technology Park PTP on "Dissemination of knowledge and skills formed within the DIVA project."

 

European challenges and opportunities for cultural and creative businesses: this is the focus of the event promoted by the European DIVA project to be held on May 20 at the Querini Stampalia Foundation, Venice starting at 9 a.m.

The guest speakers of the Project will talk about European networks promoting the cultural and creative sector, ongoing European experiences and new development opportunities. The DIVA project partners will present the results of three years of work conducted in over 20 pilot interventions funded in the cross-border area.

The fifth S3UNICA newsletter focuses on different topics, namely the changes in the academic world in these last years of the pandemic, the approach of the institutions and university campuses to greening, and the activities implemented by the project partners in this last semester.

On Wednesday, December 1, we held the crossborder "Launch and networking event", attended by representatives of DIVA pilot projects. A welcome speech by Valeria Bazzan (CCIAA Venezia Rovigo) and an introduction speech by moderator Corrado Campobasso (Informest), was followed by a Mario Ciaramitaro (IUAV), Peter Purg (UNG) and Mija Lorbek (DIVA HUB Unit - Ekscenter) inspiring speeches on the introduction of Design thinking and Art thinking into research and innovation processes.

 

On November 24, the UnderwaterMuse Steering Committee and the  Thematic Meeting will take place in Grado, hosted by ERPAC FVG, lead partner of the project co-financed by the European program Interreg Italy Croatia, with the support of the technical assistance of Informest.

The appointment will be an opportunity to take stock of the pilot actions conducted during the summer by some partners, and in particular of the activities carried out in the Gulf of Grado for research, protection and enhancement of the wreck of a Roman boat, known as "Grado 2".

 

On Wednesday 15th of September, the search, protection and enhancement of the wreck of a Roman wreck, known as "Grado 2", was completed. It was one of the three pilot interventions of the Cross-border Cooperation Program Interreg Italy-Croatia 2014-2020 "UnderwaterMuse" project, led by the Regional Body for Cultural Heritage of Friuli Venezia Giulia - ERPAC FVG, who is supported by Informest for the project’s implementation on both regarding contents and financial aspects.

 

The fifth and penultimate S3UNICA Exchange of Experience will take place next Wednesday, 21st October from 12.00 to 14.30 and it will host different experts in the fild from Regional agencies and universities. The event will be organized and realized by the project partner "Alba Local Energy Agency” and it will be focused on the support to the local authorities in implementing the low carbon emissions strategies.

Informest supports the lead partner, Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomus Region, and the regional Universities of Udine and Trieste in the management, communication, and dissemination activities.

 

 

On Monday 18th October in Venice during the “Diva creative hub pitching event” Veneto HUB representatives met for the first time the Veneto representatives of the SME-CCI collaboration pilot projects selected with the DIVA Open Call!

On Wednesday, October 6, DIVA project partners from Friuli Venezia Giulia organized an online event at which 7 pilot projects from FVG were presented.

Following a welcoming address by Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia, the representatives of DIVA Hub FVG illustrated the support offered by the same hub. After that, each project team introduced themselves and their project ideas. The event was, therefore, first of all, an opportunity for DIVA Hub FVG’s staff and the project teams to meet each other. In addition, DIVA Hub FVG’s staff gained a deeper understanding of project ideas, and this laid the basis to better define the next steps of DIVA Hub FVG’s activities.

 

Guidelines and templates to be used for reporting and project modification of financed projects are available.

We invite beneficiaries to read carefully the guidelines, to use the downloadable materials and to ask the support of HUBs representative for the project implementation.

 

RESPONSe 10th Technical meeting is currently taking place in Trieste: the Italian and Croatian partners of the Interreg Italy-Croatia project met together and in person after almost two years of on-line relationship. The meeting is preparatory to the final conference, that will be held at the end of November, and to the latest revisions of the documents that are the basis of SECAPs in the six pilot areas.

 

On September 14th, the Slovenian partners of the DIVA project carried out the "DIVA pitch" event, which had the aim of presenting selected pilot projects that come from the Slovenian area. The event took place in Ljubljana at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Representatives of six pilot projects briefly presented their project ideas, and representatives of Slovenian DIVA HUB presented in more detail the support services they offer. 

 

On Monday 30 August has been published in the scientific publication Creative Industries Journal of Taylor & Francis, Informa PLC division, the article Establishing ecosystems for disruptive innovation by cross-fertilizing entrepreneurship and the arts. A rather extensive and detailed 30-page research article wrote by Peter Purg and Jernej Cucek Gerbec of University of Nova Gorica and Silvia Cacciatore form IUAV University of Venezia, project partners. The article explores cross-innovation between CCIs and SMEs. To enable such innovation, the DIVA project developed a set of tools and methods, based on an analysis of field-specific stakeholder requirements.

 

After the Campus Technical Meeting held last 25th June, the first S3UNICA Campus Technical Solution Publication was published on project web page, and it collects two important tools elaborated by the University of Udine and the University of Trieste and the innovative solutions present in the two campuses illustrated during the last meeting.

The search, protection and enhancement of the wreck of a Roman boat off the coast of Grado, known as "Grado 2", will start on the 12th of August. This is one of the three pilot interventions of the "UnderwaterMuse" project, approved and funded under the Cross-border Cooperation Program - Interreg Italy-Croatia 2014 - 2020, led by the Regional Body for Cultural Heritage of Friuli Venezia Giulia - ERPAC FVG, in partnership with the University of Venice Cà Foscari, the Puglia Region, the RERA Agency from Split and the Municipality of Kaštela.

 

It was held on Monday, 19th July, the last Steering Committee of the Twinning project in Georgia dedicated to the products’ quality control and protection system of protected geographical indication, coordinated by the Italian Ministry of Agricultural, Food, Forestry Policies - Central Inspectorate of Protection quality and fraud repression of agri-food products and by the French counterpart, with the support of Informest for the administrative and financial part.

 

 

The third Newsletter of Interreg Italy-Croatia project, RESPONSe, is dedicated to the different perceptions of climate change and to the mitigation and adaptation measures collected and organized in the Climate Adaptation Menu, an on-line platform in which 160 mitigation and climate adaptation measures have been collected; the measures, already implemented in Europe and in the world. Finally, a page is dedicated to the topics’ synthesis reached by four informative and participatory events on climate change in the coastal areas of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Cambiamenti climatici e adattamento locale nelle zone costiere e lagunari del Friuli Venezia Giulia".

In the framework of the project "TAMSALL – Towards A new Multilevel Shared Approach for Libya Local Governance", aimed to contribute to the development of qualitative local public services in Libya and funded by the European Commission, the Lead Partner of the project "ART-ER S. cons. p.a." opened a public selection thorugh comparative procedure, for two experts: a highly experienced professional for the coordination of Components 1 and 2 of the project and a Lybya-based senior advisor on local development and institutional building.

AIM OF THE CALL: promoting the cross fertilization between CCIs and traditional SMEs leading to the realization of new products and servicesthrough pilot projects.

PROJECT PROPOSALS shall focus on innovative and original products, processes, services, tools, developed in the framework of a collaboration between one traditional SME (applicant)and one CCI (implementing partner). Proposals must be able to offer perspectives of sustainability over time.

 

Coastal erosion, flooding and sea level rise are the greatest climatic dangers to which Lignano Sabbiadoro area is subjected in an increasingly serious and increasingly frequent way. What measures should be taken to make the coastal area more resilient to the effects of the climate change? Informest and the Regional Energy Agency (APE FVG), RESPONSe regional partners, met today in an online meeting the representatives of local associations and regional agencies and Research Institutes: the Regional Agency for the Environmental Protection (ARPA FVG), the National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics (OGS), the Association Legambiente FVG, the Cultural Association Trezza Project, the Municipality of Lignano Sabbiadoro, the local Civil Protection and the representatives of the most important state owned concessionaries in the city.  

 

Last 23rd February the Final ConferenceCulture and creativity: opportunities, future challenges and development scenarios” took place online. The event was organized and realized by Basilicata Region and saw the participation of different personalities and authorities of the Basilicata Region, the Interreg Europe Programme and the members of CRE:HUB partnership. They presented the goals and results of CRE:HUB project for cultural and creative industries, the policies for the development of the cultural systems and different European good practices and case studies.

The final conference of the Interreg Europe CRE: HUB Project will be held online next Tuesday 23th February from 09.30 to 13.30. It will be the opportunity to discover the results achieved in all the involved territories and the present and future support activities dedicated to cultural and creative enterprises.
Attendees will also have the possibility to learn about many different European good practices and case study, dedicate to the improvement of policies in the cultural and creative sector.

The first meeting for 2021 of the project Interreg Italy-Croatia RESPONSe opened yesterday with good news: the municipality of Montemarciano, a pilot area in Marche region, also joined the Covenant of Mayors for Climate&Energy last December. Along with Lignano Sabbiadoro, two of six RESPONSe pilot areas officially join the European initiative that commits participants to implement concrete actions for adaptation to the climate change.
The intensive work, done by the partners in the recent months to collect the data necessary for the vulnerability and risk assessment plans, will feed into six documents. On the basis of these documents, the partners will elaborate six SECAPs (Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan), one for each pilot area.  In addition to Montemarciano, there are also Lignano Sabbiadoro and Brindisi on the Italian front and Cres, Šibenik and the Neretva estuary on the Croatian side.

 

The European Commission recently published a Report on Intra-EU Labour Mobility 2020, that identifies trends in free movement of European workers (people between 20 and 64) and their family members, based on the latest available data (2019/2018), in EU and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries.

CREATURES project is excited to join the cluster and contribute to its valuable goals!

 

Last 29th November, a special digital study visit entitled “Culture and business: study visit of the CROSSINNO EU-funded project” was held, organised within the CROSSINNO project funded by the Interreg Italy-Austria. Four different case studies of enterprises that were able to combine traditional manufacturing with creativity were presented during the event: Bonotto, Lavanderia Adriatica, 3MC and Amorim Cork Italia.

Despite the difficulties caused by COVID-19 pandemic, S3UNICA partnership was able to pursue its objectives and recorded the Exchange of Experience in Finland.

The second Newsletter has just been published on the RESPONSe website. The main focus are the abstract of the scientific speeches, presented during the mid-term conference, held last October 20th, and the analyzes and simulations emerging from the  meteorological and oceanographic data, collected in the period 1961-2018. The analyzes and simulations are the basis on which the next project documents will be developed in the current months: the measures to be adopted for an effective adaptation to climate change and the drafting of SECAP (Action Plan for Sustainable Energy and Clima) for each of the six pilot areas of the project.

Under the leadership of the Italian Union, the 4th Steering Committee of PRIMIS took place online, a strategic project funded by the Interreg VA Italy-Slovenia program, whose objective is the enhancement of the linguistic, cultural and natural heritage of indigenous communities (the national Slovenian in Italy and Italian in Slovenia as well as the linguistic communities of Cimbri, Ladin, Friulian), the change in the perception of multicultural and multilingual identity, the promotion of the cross-border territory and the increase in tourist demand.

It was an opportunity for the Italian-Slovenian partnership to make the point of the implementation of the administrative and financial management of PRIMIS, and of the ongoing activities, just over half of the project's duration (36 months).

 

The Study Visit will be held on Sunday 29th November 2020 from 2.30 to 4 p.m, organized in the frame of OPEN FACTORY event, the most important opening of industrial and manufacturing culture in Italy, which will take place online.

The program includes a session dedicated only to the project partners and their stakeholders, with the aim to let you have the opportunities to discover four testimonies of different approaches to the theme of cooperation enterprise-culture, able to offer interesting scenarios and perspectives for listeners.

After this panel, it has been scheduled a plenary session, open to the public, for the conclusion with the participation of Antonio Calabrò, director Fondazione Pirelli, deputy chairman Assolombarda, chairman Museimpresa.

The mid-term conference of RESPONSe project took place on 21 October, gathering on-line around 100 participants from both sides of the Adriatic Sea. RESPONSe project is dedicated to the planning of the adaptation measures and policies in reply to the climate change that affects Italian and Croatian Adriatic costs and costal areas.

Unanimously approved during the last City Council, it constitutes the first step for SECAP preparation.Steps forward for RESPONSe project, funded by the Italy-Croatia Interreg Programme, in which Informest plays as lead partner. Lignano Sabbiadoro, included in the project as one of the six pilot areas, for which the project activities will be at disposal of the public administrations for the definition of policies and adaptation measures in response to climate change, approved its adhesion to the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy during the last City Council.

 

The mid-term conference of RESPONSe project, dedicated to the climate change issues and the adoption of smart strategies by the Adriatic coastal municipalities, took place yesterday, 21st October, online.

 

Two workshops for the tourism sector organized by Vegal (the Development Agency for Eastern Veneto) as part of WP 3.2.2 PRIMIS project will take place on 22 and 23 October.

A conference to analyse climate change in Friuli Venezia Giulia territories.

 

On Friday 6th November 2020, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Interreg MED Programme, together with the Agence Nationale de la Cohésion des Territoires (ANCT) will held a conference on the future of European territorial cooperation in order to better coordinate and strengthen the governance actions in the Mediterranean, to which Interreg MED has been committed to create a "PANORAMEDgovernance platform directly involving the Programme participating States, in addition to the thematic projects since 2014. PANORAMED benefits from  the different projects of the Programme to better capitalise and coordinate the actions of local authorities, States and of the European Union. 

 

On 22 September INFORMEST participated in the Autumn Session (7 – 25 September 2020, with a total of 18 lecturers) of the Advanced Master in Sustainable Blue Growth organized by the University of Trieste and the National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics - OGS of Trieste. In particular, INFORMEST presented to the 18 participants from 8 Countries  (Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Italy, Serbia, Lebanon, Turkey and Romania) the reports “EU Financial instruments to support co-operation in the Mediterranean basin” and “An update of the situation of Blue Energy development in the Mediterranean Sea”.

 

The final conference of Ca.Re project will be held online on Friday 25 September, from 9.30 to 13.00. It will be dedicated to "The Case&Care approach for the management of services for elderly people: potential and development in the light of COVID-19". The project partners and Italian and Austrian experts will discuss the results of the pilot actions carried out in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Tyrol and on the potential offered by the Case & Care method to our social and health systems and to increasingly aging society.
