The RESPONSe project partners, in which Informest plays as lead partner, met once again today at distance for the VI Steering Committe meeting, to discuss and plan in detail the activities that will carry out in the coming months. Above all, the mid-term conference that will take place online in October, where eminent scientists will discuss the climate changes in the Adriatic region and the adaptation strategies to be implemented.

The proposals will be the result not only of the scientific analysis carried out by RESPONSe, but also of the consultation currently ongoing with citizens and the public administrations of the six pilot areas, Lignano Sabbiadoro, Montemarciano and Brindisi in Italy, Cres, Šibenik and the Neretva Estuary in Croatia. Temperature, rainfall and sea level data will also be published in October and they will be useful for the development of the SECAPs (Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan), which each area will prepare.

RESPONSE project is funded by the Program Interreg Italy-Croatia. In Friuli Venezia Giulia, in addition to Informest, Friuli Venezia Giulia Energy Agency – APE FVG participates as technical partner and Lignano Sabbiadoro as a pilot area for the definition of SECAP.
